Our team is proudly sponsored by Alaska X, a Skagway tour company where we spend our summers giving mushing tours. Good luck to all the teams and mushers in this year’s inaugural Su Dog Race!

Casey Randall
Rock On Racing
Lead Dogs:
Lynx (pictured) and Boye
Musher Bio:
In June of 2020 our kennel started out with Bundtzen & Ulsom dogs. We added some King dogs and have had five litters of our own. They are the Rock, Freedom, River, Sharpshooter and Outlaw litters. It is hard to pick a favorite dog as each one is so special and I love them all. Over our four racing seasons, Lynx has been one of my most trusted leaders. We call our dogs Rock Stars because that is exactly what they are! Rock On Racing is our family kennel and is made up of Matt, Casey, AddieAnn, Thale Randall and the Rock Stars (the dogs). As a family we work together to raise, train and race our dogs. It is a lifestyle that is full of hard work every single day. It is also full of love, adventure, and a lot of dog hair. As a mom, I am extremely proud of our children for the way they take care of our dogs, the responsibilities they take on, the confidence they have gained and the life skills they have learned through dog mushing. I grew up in Michigan and I’ve lived in Alaska for almost 25 years. I am thankful and grateful for all of the blessings in my life. Our dogs are part of our family and the most wonderful creatures.

My name is Emily Krol, and I’ve called Alaska home since 2007. That year I was gifted a dog sled ride with Redington Mushing. Little did I know how much that day was going to impact the rest of my life. Two years later, I began running dogs with that same kennel. After a couple of seasons competing, I stepped off the runners but remained actively involved in volunteering. In 2023, I had the opportunity to take on a group of yearlings and took the dive back into training a team. This past season I also got back to racing, taking 1st place in the 2024 Goose Bay 150. Now, I’m excited to tackle my first 300-mile race!

-
Sadie Lindquist
Seavey’s Ididaride
Lead Dogs:
Butch, Max, Ollie, Thor, Apollo
Musher Bio:
I’m from Moose Pass Alaska, and have grown up around sled dogs most of my life. I spent seven summers working for the Seavey family running tours, but never really had the desire to mush in the wintertime. Two years ago I made a definite decision that I’d take a break from my biggest passion teaching snowboarding, to fully commit my life to running dogs. I am beyond privileged to spend my second winter working with the most special group of dogs I trained as yearlings last season. These pups will accompany me on their very first race and will be my third qualifier. The stoke couldn't be higher to share the trails with these athletes and their mushers.
